Blue Sky Aero, Inc.'s  philosophy is to provide service to the light general aviation pilot. From providing an affordable aircraft to rent to helping an aircraft owner take care of their airplane, which we realize is an important investment.

Chief Pilot/Flight School Manager Cindy Limbach is a principal owner of Blue Sky Aero. An instructor for over 20 years, her goal is for Blue Sky Aero to provide a flying environment that is both professional and fun.

Cindy earned a BS degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She is an ATP, CFII & MEI and is also qualified to provide tailwheel and aerobatic instruction.

Alan Shackleton, Director of Maintenance and a principal owner of Blue Sky Aero, Inc. has been involved in aircraft maintenance and restoration since 1980. Known for his sheet metal and fabric work, he is experienced with antiques, classics, warbirds, contemporary singles and light twins. Many airplanes are flying behind his engine overhauls.

Alan holds a mechanics certificate with airframe and powerplant ratings and an Inspection Authorization. He has been a pilot and aircraft owner for over twenty years. Alan also holds degrees in business administration (WCC) and economics (NIU)
